The (Full) Story

About Me

Hi! My name is Alla Shashkina. I spent 15 years working in technology. My journey began in Russia with a Master’s in Linguistics and continued in Germany with a second Master’s in Computer Science and Computational Linguistics. It eventually led me to Silicon Valley, where I spent 11 years at Apple leading global engineering teams and launching Siri in over 40 languages worldwide.

Working at the intersection of language, systems, and human behavior gave me a front-row seat to the real demands of leadership under pressure. Today, I bring that experience into my work as an Executive Coach, helping leaders in tech navigate complexity with clarity, regulate pressure, and lead with grounded, sustainable authority.

Mission

My mission is to help high-achieving professionals in tech reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and unlock their full potential — so they can lead with clarity, resilience, and purpose.

Vision

I believe that physiology drives psychology: only by integrating the body into the process of change can we truly shift the mind and experience deep, lasting transformation. My approach blends nervous system-centered recalibration, embodied self-awareness for deep alignment, and a data-informed integration of science — applied artfully and guided by soul.

My Credentials

Not every coach is equal.

The coaching industry is largely unregulated, and many practitioners operate without formal training, credentials, or accountability. I’ve chosen a different standard, one grounded in rigorous education, ethical practice, and evidence-based methods.

In addition to my technology leadership background, I am a certified executive coach, trained through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, an internationally recognized coaching program, and aligned with ICF (International Coaching Federation) competencies and ethical standards.

I am also a Breath Science Practitioner and Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator, with advanced training in nervous system regulation, stress physiology, and safe, evidence-based breathwork. This allows me to work not only at the cognitive and strategic level, but also directly with the physiological patterns that drive reactivity, decision-making, and leadership presence under pressure.

I continuously invest in advanced education across executive coaching, leadership psychology, applied neuroscience, and breath science to ensure my clients receive work that is not only transformative, but responsible, measurable, and safe.

My commitment is simple: to offer coaching that meets the same standard of excellence, depth, and accountability I held in my leadership roles inside complex, high-stakes organizations.
